The Historic South End is the trendy area of Boston offering a plethora of well established as well as new, avant-garde restaurants, bakeries, shops, theaters and other entertainment.  Walk 3 blocks to the subway and train station, 3 blocks to Copley Square, 5 blocks to posh Newbury Street or take a 15-minute stroll to the Boston Public Gardens, near the Freedom Trail.  Both are the only units on the second floor and can be rented together to one party or separately.

(M306A) is a small studio with a double Murphy bed. (a Murphy bed is a platform bed with full mattress that lifts into a cabinet. It is very comfortable). There is a kitchenette area with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster/oven and coffee maker.

Winter Season: Monthly only unless with short notice. $1400-1600/month, $500-550/week, $100-110/night.

THE 1863 HOUSE BED AND BREAKFAST (M307) This delightful couple have been residents of their centrally located South End neighborhood for 27 years. They offer three guest rooms and lots of local knowledge! Their brick bow front Victorian townhouse was built in 1863. It features a new gourmet kitchen with a deck overlooking their secluded garden for quiet continental breakfasts. Each bedroom has a double antique brass bed with an antique quilt, a desk and a "decorative" fireplace. The two fourth floor guest rooms share a bath with tub and shower. The third floor room shares the hosts' bathroom with its claw foot tub/shower.

Shared baths, A/C, TV in sitting room only, Cordless phone when requested, Wireless high speed Internet, Non-smoking, Continental breakfast, Double beds, 4th floor walk up, Sleeps 1-4 (occasionally 2 more in auxiliary room).

High Season – Spring, Summer, Fall: $105-115/night, $630-690/week.
Winter Season: $90-100/night, $450-500/week.
