This beautifully maintained Queen Anne Victorian home was designed in 1899 by renowned architect, F. Joseph Untersee, and is decorated with dart moldings, leaded glass, and modillions. It has been lovingly updated by your hostess, who is also an awarding-winning architect. The home offers character and charm, extraordinary European artifacts, folk art, and warm and friendly hosts to make your stay a blissful experience. Two rooms on the 2nd floor, one overlooking the patio and yard, have a queen bed and private bath. The third room, situated on the floor above, contains a queen bed and an attached bath. Your hosts welcome you to enjoy an expanded continental breakfast in the dining room or their homey kitchen. The house is conveniently located just one block from Washington Square center, the subway, the best Irish pub in metro Boston, a sensational European bakery and café, and other fine restaurants and shops. The subway takes 15 minutes to downtown Boston, 10 minutes to BU and the Longwood Medical area, and 10 minutes to Boston College in the opposite direction. Your hosts speak French, Spanish, Danish, Russian, and Polish.
