What a charming apartment in this 1831 brick Federal-style home in Cambridge! Guests enjoy a comfortable and casual atmosphere in this popular unit with a private entrance, full kitchen, living room with a single sleep sofa, a fireplace, and a large loft bedroom with an original brick wall, and a full bath. The apartment abounds with the owner's birdhouse collection (none occupied!) and family pictures. The neighborhood is quiet and is close to numerous ethnic restaurants and the Kendall Square Cinema. Linda and Peter, the owners who live in the apartment below, welcome you to enjoy the fruits of their hobby: a beautifully landscaped, fenced-in yard and gardens with a backyard patio underneath a large chestnut tree, a real gem. Pearl, the owners' dog, is very friendly. This short term housing Cambridge near Harvard and MIT is a ten-minute walk to the Kendall Square subway and MIT, and Harvard Square is a 20 minute walk. All kitchen items and linens are provided along with some continental breakfast foods.

We chose this place for the temporary accommodation for the initial month of a one year stay in Boston (during this period, we had to find an apartment for ourselves) and we'll definitely keep it in our hearts for the future.
